From rock houses to a hiding place fit for a king, we have put together eight National Trust Properties that are within twenty miles of the park to give you inspiration for your next holiday.
Dudmaston Hall
Distance from park: 7-minute drive, 3.7 miles
A family home for over 875 years, Dudmaston Hall is filled with memories and history from its past inhabitants. Within the galleries you will find Modern, Spanish and Botanical art collections featuring Hepworth, Moore and Matisse.
Take a stroll through the terraced garden with its outdoor sculptures, or explore the parkland and pretty Dingle. Surrounded by woodland, this is a fantastic place to explore the great outdoors and the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses
Distance from park: 16-minute drive, 9 miles
A quirky visitor attraction in picturesque scenery, discover the Rock Houses and step back in time into homes carved into the sandstone, where people lived until the 1960s.
Explore the heathland and woodland of Kinver Edge, with an Iron Age hillfort and stunning views across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
Wightwick Manor and Gardens

A beautiful house with a classic black and white half-timbered exterior, discover Morris and Co interiors and a stunning art collection at Wightwick Manor.

Benthall Hall

Built in 1535, Benthall Hall is a beautiful stone house that overlooks the River Severn and was home to the Benthall family for 500 years.
Explore the manor itself with its carved oak staircase and panelling, or enjoy the 19th-century garden featuring an impressive collection of crocuses.
With woodland that will lead you to the Ironbridge Gorge, this is a beautiful place to visit.

Sunnycroft House
Distance from park: 31-minute drive, 14.8 miles
From a medicine cabinet with shelves still stocked with medicines from the 1900s, to the beautiful Maws & Co. tiled floor in the entrance hall, this suburban Victorian villa is full of historical treasures.
Explore the Edwardian interior with its original features, or take a stroll around the garden set amongst a five-acre estate which also includes ornamental gardens and a Wellingtonia tree avenue.
Attingham Park
Distance from park: 34-minute drive, 19.9 miles
This impressive Georgian Mansion is influenced by Italian design and is set amongst a large estate which includes woodland, plenty of walking routes and a walled garden.
Take a walk through the deer park and catch a glimpse of the Attingham fallow deer, who have made their home on the estate since the early 1800s.
Knowles Mill

Visit this derelict 18th-century mill, now carefully preserved by the National Trust.
