From Caravans to Vehicle Conversions: Find Your Perfect Pitch
With a variety of touring accommodations now available on the market, it can be confusing trying to find the right park and pitch for your particular vehicle/ accommodation.
We offer a variety of spacious pitches to accommodate all your touring needs. Whether you prefer the home comforts of your RV or the simplicity of a tent, we have the perfect spot for you.

Hardstanding & Super Pitches
All of our touring parks have hardstanding and fully serviced, super pitches to choose from, all with gravel surface, electric hook-up and space for a car. Our super pitches also boast water hook-up, plus grey waste disposal.
Our hardstanding and fully serviced pitches can accommodate the following:
- Caravans: Single and Twin Axle
- Motorhomes: A-Class, Low-Profile Coach Built, Over Cab Bed, Micro, and Tag Axle
- Campervans: Classic, Pop-Up/Rising Roof, High-Top, and Converted Cars (e.g, Renault Kangoo, Citroen Berlingo)
- Trailer Tents
- Folding Campers
- Fifth-Wheelers
- Roof Tents
- Vehicle Conversions: We welcome cleverly converted vehicles! See our conversion guidelines below for details on safety and required features.
Grass Pitches
Perfect for the warmer months, our Ludlow Touring Park (South Shropshire), Oxon Hall Touring Park (Shrewsbury), and Stanmore Touring Park (Bridgnorth) all have grass pitches available.
Generally available between May and October (weather-dependent), our grass pitches are spacious, accommodating a tent up to 6×4 metres in size whilst also allowing space for a car.
Each grass pitch comes with electric hook-up, and can accommodate the following:
- Tents: Up to 6×4 metres in size
- Small Caravans
- Trailer Tents
- Folding Campers
- Roof Tents
RV Pitches
If you’re looking for a larger pitch to accommodate your RV vehicle, we have a limited number of pitches with that extra space especially for the larger vehicles to fit comfortably.
Available at Ludlow Touring Park (South Shropshire), Oxon Hall Touring Park (Shrewsbury), and Stanmore Touring Park (Bridgnorth), each RV pitch comes with a gravel surface, electric and water hook-up, plus grey waste disposal.
Please Note:
We do ask that you know the size of your accommodation when making your booking so we can ensure that we can accommodate your touring accommodation and place you on the appropriate pitch.
Vehicle Conversions
We love seeing all sorts of touring accommodations at our parks, and this includes those fantastic and unique vehicle conversions.
Whilst we welcome converted vehicles wherever we can, we do have some guidelines in place for your safety and enjoyment. These ensure a comfortable living space that meets safety regulations.
Here are some key points from the UK Gov website that any vehicle conversion must adhere to to stay on our parks:
Converting a Vehicle into a Motorhome/ Campervan
Key Conversion Features:
- Windows: Two or more windows for natural light and ventilation.
- Separate Door & Window: A dedicated entrance with a window (separate from driver/passenger doors).
- Seating & Table: Permanently mounted table and secured seating for comfortable dining.
- Sleeping: Securely fixed beds (or convertible beds) for a restful sleep.
- Cooking: A permanently secured single-ring cooking facility or microwave.

What We Can’t Accommodate
We prioritise the safety and comfort of all our guests, which means we cannot accommodate vehicles that lack basic amenities or pose safety hazards. This includes mattresses in the back of vans without proper facilities. The vehicle must comply with all safety gas legislation and be roadworthy.
