£26,000 Boost for Hope House: Our Fund-Raising Efforts Support Children’s Hospice
We have raised £12,000 for Hope House children’s hospice during 2023, boosting support for the charity to almost £26,000 over the last two years.
Over the last 12 months, we have been collecting donations for the charity at all seven of our touring and holiday home parks and received generous help from our guests.
Alongside fundraising from our sister company Morris Lubricants, the teams at our parks have organised a series of events, which include raffles at our Oxon Hall and Ludlow parks, as well as a charity night at Bow House Country Park that involved a BBQ and live entertainment.
Morris Leisure Managing Director, Edward Goddard, said "the teams at both companies have done tremendously well to raise nearly £26,000 for Hope House over the past two years.
Our teams across the parks have been doing all they can to raise funds for Hope House, and a huge thank you to our guests and owners for their generosity in donating to the charity. Every penny helps Hope House continue the vital work they do in supporting children and their families."
Bekki Fardoe, Area Fundraiser for Hope House, said: “We are really grateful to Morris Lubricants and Morris Leisure for supporting over the last two years and raising a staggering sum for the children and families that we support.
“The money they have raised has and will continue to make a huge difference in ensuring that we here for every family that turns to us.”More Stories
