Morris Leisure celebrates having four touring caravan parks named in UK’s Top 100
The managing director of Shrewsbury-based Morris Leisure has expressed delight that four of the company’s touring caravan parks have been named in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2016.
The guide is compiled by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines following the recommendation of readers. Stanmore Hall Touring Park, Bridgnorth, Oxon Hall Touring and Holiday Home Park, Shrewsbury, Ludlow Touring Park and Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park, Betws-y-Coed, which are all owned by Morris Leisure, were named in the top 100.
The magazines received thousands of votes from the readers campaigning passionately for their chosen site to be shortlisted. A team of experts, in conjunction with Caravan Sitefinder, then collated and reviewed the votes to produce the final list.
“Whether you’re looking for a family-focused, full-facility holiday park or a quiet, adults-only, rural retreat, there are finalists to cater for every taste, so make our guide your touring companion and enjoy the warm hospitality of the UK’s best campsites,” said a magazine spokesman.

Edward Goddard, managing director of Morris Leisure, said: “We are delighted that four of our touring parks are included in the Top 100 Sites Guide, particularly as they were voted for by caravan and motorhome owners.
“We go to great lengths to ensure that our parks are of the highest quality and it’s always satisfying when customers give them the vote of approval. We are fortunate to have excellent managers at all of our parks and it’s a great accolade for them also.
“Hopefully, the latest addition to our portfolio, Llanberis Touring Park, which only opened in March this year, will be competing for a place in the top 100 next year.”
