Ludlow welcomes stars for summer arts festivals
Shropshire’s beautiful market town of Ludlow, famous as the food capital of England, is serving up an arts feast this summer.
Ludlow Shakespeare Festival runs from June 14-22 with a production of the comedy ‘As You Like It’ presented by Stafford Gatehouse Theatre and starring John Challis and Eric Potts.
Tickets for the main Ludlow Arts Festival from June 28 to July 6 are now on sale, with stars including Ken Dodd, comedian Jim Davidson, Bellowhead, Marty Wilde and Wildcats, Fascinating Aida, Ray Mears, David Essex, Shawaddywaddy and the Bay City Rollers all performing. The 135-pitch Ludlow Touring Park, a prestigious affiliated site of The Caravan Club, is located on a 20-acre site alongside the River Teme and A49 near Richards Castle.
