SHREWSBURY CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL @ ST MARY’S CHURCH


The Chocolate Festival will be promoting a wonderful array of chocolatiers from Shropshire and the surrounding counties as well as introducing some of the most talented chocolatiers from around the country and world. Edd Kimber, The Boy Who Bakes, winner of the 1st BBC Great British Bake Off will be attending on the Saturday, demoing one of his favourite chocolate recipes. Time: Friday and Saturday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am- 4pm.

SHREWSBURY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON @ THE SQUARE


Activities will be taking place across the town, including Street Theatre on the High Street, Eat Street Shrewsbury at St Alkmund's Church, Father Christmas' Sleigh on Pride Hill, a Lantern Parade from the shopping centres to the Square, Fairground Ride on Shoplatch ,as well as Live music and traders in the Market Hall who will be selling a range of seasonal refreshments, including mulled wine. Time: 5pm, with the lights being switched on at 6.30pm. Activities will continue until 10pm.
 

21-22nd NOVEMBER 2015
A CHRISTMAS CAROL CELEBRATION WEEKEND @ THE PARADE SHOPPING CENTRE


The Parade Shopping Centre will be hosting a celebration weekend event inspired by the 1984 filming of 'A Christmas Carol'. 'A Christmas Carol' will be projected onto a screen inside for all to see along with an ice rink in front of the building for the two day event. Skating sessions will be available from 11.00am each day.
There will be mulled wine, hot soup, jacket potatoes and mince pies along with other goodies to eat and drink. Santa and his sleigh will pay a visit and Christmas carols singers will add to the festive cheer!

SHREWSBURY CHRISTMAS @ THE QUARRY


Shrewsbury Christmas is the latest festival to the Shrewsbury scene. It will be bringing a wonderland of Christmas goodies with around 100 exhibitors featuring the best artisan local foods, handmade crafts. Christmas grotto, Christmas lights, seasonal cookery and craft workshops and many more surprises.

Percy Thrower's will be hosting it's first Food and Craft Fair at Wyevale Garden Centre with over 20 indoor stalls. Enjoy local produce and handmade products at the local artisan Food & Craft Fair. Time: Sat: 9am - 6pm, Sun: 10.30am - 4.30pm

LUDLOW MEDIEVAL CHRISTMAS FAYRE @LUDLOW CASTLE


The best medieval show in the land with over 100 stalls selling seasonal gifts with a medieval flavour.
With more music, minstrels, merriment and mirth than ever before. PLUS The bone-crunching Plantaganet's Combat, Stanchester Quire's Saturday Night Christmas Carols, Wyndebagge's Winter Warmer Show, Falconry Displays - Motley Minstrels' Gathering, The Bed of Nails and Fire Juggling.

Marc Robinson and the Counterfeit Crickets pay tribute to the rock ‘n’ roll legend Buddy Holly in this fantastic show at the Ludlow Assembly rooms – packed with plenty of Christmas cheer! Enjoy the hits that defined a generation. They’ll even give festive favourites a rockabilly reboots, including White Christmas, Run Rudolph Run and Winter Wonderland! Time: 8pm.
